A MOMENT IN TIME...SHAKESPEARE'S BIRTHPLACE
Play the video above with sound to experience the Hall at Shakespeare's Birthplace, as it might have been 400 years ago.
The initiative had the objective of creating a sense of atmosphere to the Hall at Shakespeare’s Birthplace.
Through the addition of multi-sensory interpretation techniques to enrich the visitor experience, including touch, sight, smell and sound - visitors will discover more about Shakespeare’s Mother, Mary, and her role in the
Henley Street home.
The initiative generated excellent visitor and staff feedback.
You can see how visitors reacted by watching this reel:
KING RICHARD III ANNIVERSARY
Villain? Usurper? King. This outreach project with the King Richard III Visitor Centre was part of wider digital and social media strategy to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Richard III’s reinterment at Leicester Cathedral. Visitors and staff also got to experience Richard in-person when he visited the Centre.
To celebrate Richard’s links to Leicester, key extracts from the eponymous play, Richard III, were filmed with period interpreter, Phillip Watson. These scenes were filmed in and around key Leicester sites including the Leicester Guildhall. Photography produced in the King Richard III Visitor Centre was used across social media to promote the collaboration.
The short film was then rolled out across web platforms, effectively cross promoting the visitor offer of both the King Richard III Visitor Centre and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust to different regional audiences.
'THE MAN WHO PAYS THE RENT'
A Conversation with Dame Judi Dench and Brendan O'Hea
To promote her book 'The Man who Pays the Rent',
Judi Dench was joined by Brendan O'Hea to discuss her illustrious career and the many characters she has played
on stage. This was a closed virtual event, which reached
an audience of nearly 1,000 people around the globe.
The event evolved into a platform for digital fundraising.
The high profile nature of the guests and the event being
free to attend, resulted in a boost of generous donations.
Graphics produced and displayed to viewers included
fundraising messaging.
The discussion was recorded and then edited into multiple video and audio formats for use on social media platforms, including Instagram and Soundcloud.
WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

A month-long programme of digital content was produced for Women's History Month at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. This included a 4-part series exploring a variety of female characters based on real women from history.
Each episode was presented by a different Shakespearean academic and included performances from a range of actresses, including Kaja Chan as Cleopatra.
As well as producing multiple video assets for this project for posting across social media platforms, there was a press photography shoot, in collaboration with Chin Badger Media. The resulting images were featured in multiple
press outlets, including coverage by the BBC.
The short films were also re-edited into shorter form reels and posted to Instagram across March.
Digital content was used to refresh 'Shakespedia' play summary pages. Repurposing the videos to multiple platforms led to an increase in the average page session duration and an increase of viewers to the pages overall.

SINAI PARK HOUSE
Sinai Park House has been at the centre of many national, and local, news stories in recent years. From tales that the Knights Templar may have hidden the Ark of the Covenant
in secret tunnels under the house, to rumours of ghostly
and paranormal activity.

The house has received funding from various sources, including the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Funding is crucial for securing the future of the historic site, which
is in a critical condition. To aid in fundraising efforts, I created a series of videos
to share the conservation efforts so far and encourage
donations by connecting people to the site’s story.
ESOTERIC HISTORIES
In recent years, there has been a notable surge of interest in esoteric history and pseudo-archaeology.
The HISTORY Channel was among the first major networks to delve into the controversial 'Ancient Aliens' theory, notably through its flagship series of the same name.In ongoing collaboration with Bruce Fenton, guest presenter on HISTORY'S Ancient Aliens and prominent figure on the Discovery Channel’s The Unexplained Files: Lost Giants of Georgia and Bridge of Death - Ancient Alien theories are explored in new ways.

Fenton’s work became the focal point of the debut episode of Banned Book Club, a series produced and presented by myself, which explored the theories outlined in his book Exogenesis: Hybrid Humans.
A new podcast titled
'The Tchuringa Transmissions with Bruce Fenton',
is in pre-production, slated for release late-2025.
Her Book - An Esmée Fairbairn Project
To support the 'Her Book' exhibition, created and curated by the members of the Create & Change group, supported by artists Anam Zafar and Sharan Boparai and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust staff.A film was created to explain the group's creative process and showcase the books made for display. Additional support was provided by Naomi Awre on behalf of Sampad.
This film, part of a wider project funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Collection Fund, administered by the Museums Association, is one example of how bringing new voices into organisations offers new perspectives and new ways to reflect on collections.

DIGITAL CONTENT
In the 'Digital Age', a strong online presence is an essential part of any digital strategy. High quality content extends reach, invites new audiences in and keeps stories alive beyond physical spaces.
The Real Women of Shakespeare. This month-long Women's History Campaign explored the real-life women behind some of Shakespeare's most iconic characters.Uncover how historical figures like Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Margaret of Anjou, and Calpurnia were reimagined for the stage, as part of the three-year 'Women Who Made Shakespeare' theme.

DOCUMENTARIES
& SERIES
Documentaries and series offer the time and space for impactful storytelling. As longer formats gain popularity on YouTube and social channels, as well as independent streaming sites, they are a powerful tool for audience engagement across platforms.
Dr Dain Heer is a world-renowned speaker, best-selling author of more than 10 books and the co-creator of Access Consciousness.'Is Now The Time?' was a multi-national production, culminating in a 10-part TV series for streaming made in collaboration with Dain and the Access Consciousness team.
In the year ending March 2024, it's estimated that 2.3 million adults in England and Wales experienced domestic abuse. In 'Portrait of a Narcissist', Richard Grannon gave insights into the psychology of Narcissists, how technology and social media are a product of a growing trend of narcissism in everyday people and whether Narcissists are born or made.
